YOGA WITH COLLEEN

Over the past ten years, I’ve become known for a creative flow that embodies playfulness, self-study, and humor. My classes are inspired by a variety of disciplines and informed by functional movement and anatomy. I’ll often encourage you to step to the edge of your comfort zone, but I’ll also jump in with a reminder that the purpose of our practice is not to perfect a specific posture, but to reveal more about the complete self who already exists.

I’m someone who is committed to learning and self-inquiry, to embracing the gray areas and holding space for not just the good vibes, but all of ‘em. Yoga helps me to develop the strong back, soft front, and wild heart needed to ride the ebbs and flows of this life and meet its inevitable challenges with ever-growing grace and skill. It also invites me to stay awake to the present with a willingness to take part in it all. This is what informs my practice and my teaching.

I am passionate about sharing this practice with all who are willing to surrender the ego, quiet the mind, deepen the breath, and observe what unfolds.
